A: We strive to carry out all website migrations as quickly as possible. Yet, we don’t have a set time frame for web site migrations. There are various factors that you need to consider – the mere size of your website and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We constantly try to implement each migration in less than 48 hours. With smaller sites, our team typically manages to finish in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t need any information that is personal. We’ll need, however, the login info for your old hosting account along with the name of the web site that you want to move.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share literally the same info you have provided to your old host. We’ve also got an extremely rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive info is tackled.

A: Your website will continue to work just like it did before with your former web hosting provider. When we are done with the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If it is working properly, all you will have to do is update the name server records pertaining to your domain name. Your website will be transferred to us with no downtime.

A: Nah. We will never contact your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the web site transfer either.

A: Yes. We support all standard Linux–powered hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–driven hosting platforms, as we don’t offer Windows hosting services ourselves.We also don’t support proprietary website building and administration tools like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
